How big is Cat Covey?

60 inches by 50 inches — a standard throw. The pouch at the foot end runs roughly 18 inches wide in production, deep enough for two average cats or one large cat plus your feet.

Micro Mink fleece on the outside at 280–320 GSM, with a Sherpa fleece pouch lining at 200–250 GSM and a thermal layer between for the foot well. Machine washable.

Will my cat actually use it?

Cats prefer enclosed, covered resting places — a box, a bag, a cave bed. The pouch has a deep gusset and a semi-rigid entry seam so it holds its shape instead of collapsing flat, which is what makes it read as a cave rather than a fold of fabric.

A cat's thermoneutral zone starts around 86°F, well above the 64–72°F most people keep a house at, so for a good part of the year a Wheeling cat is mildly cold indoors even when you are comfortable. That is why it finds your feet, the laptop, the radiator and the sunbeam, in that order.
